New representatives were appointed for 3 offices of Tibet

Dharamshala: In a circular released yesterday morning, the Kashag Secretariat announced the appointment of three new representatives of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, for the Offices of Tibet in England, Japan and Russia.
The incumbent joint secretary of the London Office of Tibet, Tsering Tashi, has been appointed the new Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama for Northern Europe w.e.f. 1 May.
Tsering Tashi succeeds Kalon Kesang Yangkyi Takla, who was, despite her induction into the 13th Kashag last November, not relieved of her duties as His Holiness’s representative based in London.
The incumbent secretary of the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi, Lhakpa Tsogo, has been appointed w.e.f. 1 June the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to East Asia, based in Tokyo, Japan.
Likewise, the incumbent additional secretary of the Department of Information and International Relations, Ngawang Rabgyal, has been appointed the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Russia and Mongolia, based in Moscow. Mr Rabgyal’s deputation will take effect as soon as his travel documents are processed.
