Dharamshala: The main monastery of Tibet’s oldest spiritual tradition, Bon, will tomorrow present a grand long-life offering (Tenshug) to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
His Holiness in turn will inaugurate the newly-built library of the Menri Ling Bonpo Monastery at Dholanji, some 12 kms away from Solan.
Earlier this morning, His Holiness was received at the city’s circuit house by a battery of eminent Indians, including speaker of the state legislative assembly, deputy commissioner, district magistrate and various other officials.

Upon request of the Kinauri Buddhist Community, His Holiness spoke to some 2,000 members of the community for about half an hour, at a site near the circuit house this morning.
His Holiness will attend this afternoon a formal reception hosted at the Menri monastery, and oversee a debating session in the monastic education.
