His Holiness begins 2-week teaching on Guhyasamaja

Dharamshala: A thousand-odd Tibetan and foreign devotees across the globe have gathered here at the Tsuglagkhang to attend His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teaching on the commentary on Guhyasamaja.
His Holiness was requested by Gyalwa Karmapa Rinpoche, Drikung Kyabgon Rinpoche and Sakya Gongma Rinpoche to give this teaching.
Gyalwa Karmapa Rinpoche and Sakya Gongma Rinpoche were also present when His Holiness’ teaching began here this morning.
Only those who have already received the Guhyasamaja empowerment are qualified to attend this two-week-long teaching.
On the margins of his teaching, His Holiness underlined that the younger generation today has a golden opportunity to gain proficiency in the contemplative practices of Guhysamaja.
“They must exert themselves with full diligence,” His Holiness exhorted the devotees.
The teaching will last until 30 May.
