Training of trainers on gender

Dharamshala: From 21-24 May 2007, the Gender Desk from the Office of the Planning Commission undertook a training of trainers’ workshop on gender at Lhakpa Tsering hall of the Department of Information and International Relations, with
gender specialized professionals from Delhi based PRIA (participatory) organization.

A total of 10 trainees from the office of planning commission and representatives from Tibetan Women’s Association attended this workshop.

The workshop covered topics like gender sensitization, tools and frameworks in gender analysis, causes and process of gender inequality. It also included mock training session for the trainees and feed back on their training attempts.
