Dharamshala (TibetNet): Dr. Kunchok Tsundue, chief planning officer of the Planning Commission (PC) of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), along with other three members of the Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) evaluation team will make a 2 to 3-week visit to Tibetan settlements across India to examine various projects, which are funded by the NCA.
The Norwegian Government has been funding projects of the CTA through NCA, Oslo, since 1996.
NCA teams have been visiting India to evaluate projects financed by it every four years. The first joint participatory evaluation for the period of 1996-2001 was undertaken in April 2001 and this is the second joint evaluation covering the period of 2001-2004, according to a report sent by PC spokesperson Tenzin Dhonyo.
The main purpose of the present review is to make an assessment on cooperation over the past five years and to recommend measures for the future cooperation between the NCA and the CTA.
