His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s South America Visit

Dharamshala: On 25 April 2006 after a successful visit to United States, His Holiness the Dalai Lama left for an extended Latin America visit.
Today His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrives in Sao Paulo, the capital city of Brazil, where His Holiness the Dalai Lama will meet some Brazil parliamentarians, including the president of the Brazil Green Party and cultural minister of Brazil.
Tomorrow His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give teaching on the Seven-Point Mind Training to over 2300 people at Zu Lai Temple.
Located in Cotia on the outskirts of Sao Paulo City, Zu Lai is the biggest Chinese Mahayana Buddhist Temple in Latin America.
Reverend Sinceridade, the resident teacher, and Mr. Roy T. kong, president of the Board of Trustees of the Zu Lai Temple,will speak few words of welcome to His Holiness the Dalai Lama before his teaching.
After the teaching, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will grant a private audience to the key leaders of the Zu Lai Temple and the Chinese community in Brazil, mayor and key leaders of the region of Cotia.
On 28 April, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give a public talk on compassion and wisdom to over 4600 people at the School of Medicine of Federal University of Sao Paulo.
The talk is jointly organised by the School of Medicine Federal University of Sao Paula and the Tibetan Medical Institutes.
After the visit to Brazil, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will visit Argentina, Chile, Peru and Columbia.
