Rahul Gandhi Meets His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Dharamshala: Rahul Gandhi, member of parliament and son of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, paid a short visit to Dharamshala and had an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama yesterday afternoon.
He also met Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, Kalon Tripa of the Central Tibetan Administration and his colleagues during a luncheon reception hosted by the Kashag at the Kashag Secretariat.

During his day trip here, Mr. Gandhi visited the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School, the Library of Tibetan Work and Archives, the Tibet Museum, and various Tibetan art and craft centres at the Norbulinka Institute.
A charismatic politician Rahul Gandhi is the epitome of India’s youth and is looked on as an aspiring leader of future India.
