Indian Core Group for the Tibetan Cause Meets Here

Dharamshala: The Indian Core Group for Tibetan Cause organises a three-day meeting here from today. The Tibet Support Groups (TSG) from north, East, Northeast and central west regions of India have come to participate in the meeting.
The main agenda for the Core Group meeting is to review the progress of programmes formulated in their last meeting in New Delhi, to discuss in details about the preparation of the All India Tibet Support Group meeting in Rajghir, Bihar and to discuss on ways to enhance the cooperation between Indian TSGs and Tibetan non-governmental organisations.
The list of Core Group members participating in this meeting comprised of 11 TSG members and four staff of the Indo-Tibet Coordination Office.
The Kashag will host a dinner to the members of the Core Group.
Tomorrow they will meet with heads of various Tibetan NGOs at the Department of Information and International Relations’ Lhakpa Tsering Memorial Hall.
They will also meet with members of the standing committee of the Assembly of Tibetan People’s Deputies (ATPD).
The ATPD will host a dinner for them tomorrow.
