His Holiness’ teachings in Sarnath from 19-21 December

Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama will confer the Avalokiteshvera empowerment at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS) in Varanasi from 19 December 2006.
The three-day teachings is jointly organised by the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) and the CIHTS.
On 21 December, the FPMT, an international, non-profit organisation, founded by late Lama Thubten Yeshe, will host a long-life offering to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The FPMT aims to preserve and transmit the traditions and values of (Tibetan) Buddhism worldwide.
