
Paris: The Bureau du Tibet and Tibetan Associations in France jointly commemorated the 33rd anniversary of the conferment of the Nobel Peace Prize on His Holiness the Dalai Lama in the presence of representatives from the Human Rights Desks of Paris as event’s chief guests on 10 December 2022.
The gathering of around 500 Tibetans residents of Paris was participated by members of the Tibet Support Group of France.
After reading Kashag and Tibetan Parliament in Exile’s statement during the commemoration, Coordinator Thupten Tsering from Bureau du Tibet spoke about the significance of Chatrel (green book) payment and the recently held Tibetan demographic survey for Central Tibetan Administration’s sustenance and policy making. The gathering was also addressed by the event’s chief guest and others followed by a presentation of cultural performance from the Tibetan residents.
