Drinking water connection
Dharamshala: The Tibetan Settlement Office of Dharamshala, under the leadership of Settlement Officer Kunchok Migmar, has successfully addressed a long-standing issue concerning drinking water for the Tibetan residents of Thardoeling. This area, which is home to the notable Kirti Monastery and Gaden Choeling Nunnery, has faced water supply challenges for over a decade. The resolution of this problem marks a significant achievement for the settlement office.
Settlement Officer Kunchok Migmar is also actively collaborating with Dharamshala Smart City Ltd and local administrative bodies to tackle various issues affecting the Tibetan community. The recent solution to the water problem is a notable example of the ongoing efforts to address long-standing concerns within the community.
Apart from that, Tibetan settlement officers removed the entire underground dustbins around Mcleod Ganj, particularly near the Dalai Lama residence (Lingkhor Start Point), and transformed the area into a public space for resting. The Tibetan settlement office is always grateful to the local administration, and we will arrange everything to make the community more developed.
The Tibetan Settlement Office extends its gratitude to the local administration for their support and remains committed to advancing the development of the community.
