
Bengaluru: As per programmes set by the Chief Representative Office, Bengaluru in collaboration with Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society at Mysuru and Bengaluru; artistes of Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) performed a Tibetan cultural performance at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru to a gathering of local dignitaries and members of Indo-Tibet Friendship Society.
The artistes of TIPA have showcased the rich Tibetan Traditional Dance performance along with solo songs starting with Doeguling Tibetan Settlement, and Mundgod followed by Tibetan Settlements based at Bylakuppe, Hunsur and Kollegal.
A day prior to the event, a press conference was held narrating the brief history of Tibet and the resilience of the people from last more than six decades; particularly showcasing rich Tibetan folk and cultural presentation –one of the essential elements confining the testament of the nation.
On 13th April, the Office of Chief Representative in collaboration with the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society, Bengaluru chapter organised the cultural performance by the TIPA at Prabath Kaladwarka Auditorium which was packed with invitees and students.
The Director of TIPA, Dhondup Tsering delivered a welcome speech and introduction of TIPA to the gathering. He also felicitated a few guests on their contribution to making this event successful. CRO Jigmey Tsultrim expressed deep appreciation to the artistes for the performance and the invitees for attending this event. Niranjan Urs, Secretary of ITFS, Bengaluru Chapter conveyed a vote of thanks to the TIPA and the attendees.
