Patna: A Tibetan parliamentary delegation, consisting of Parliamentarians Tenpa Yarphel and Lopon Thupten Gyaltsen, participated in a two-day event titled ‘Tibet Mukti Sadhana Aur Bharat-China Sambandh’. The conference, organised by the India Tibet Friendship Society and the Jagjivan Ram Institute of Parliamentary Studies and Research (Patna), concluded successfully on 17 November 2024.

During the event, Tibet supporters from various Indian states emphasised the direct link between the resolution of the Sino-Tibetan conflict and India’s national security. They particularly highlighted the importance of Tibetan freedom in preserving the shared Sino-Tibetan culture.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Satyajit Kumar Singh, Senior Consultant Urologist and Managing Director, MS, FRCS, Dip. Uro. (London), who addressed the gathering.
