Johannesburg: A dialogue on African Spirituality, Buddhism and Ubuntu was hosted by Lamrim Buddhist Center at its premises on 6th May with Mandaza Kandemwa, a spirit-medium and medicine-man from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and is known internationally for his loving presence and for his preservation of the old ways, who was one of the speakers of Botswana 2017 Mind and Life Dialogue, with panellists of a young African Buddhist and Representative Ngodup Dorjee.
The dialogue explored the commonality among these spiritual traditions and how new generations can embrace other spiritual traditions without losing the afro-centric roots. There was very rich exchange of discussions and ideas leading to deep reflection.
The dialogue was attended by more than ninety participants consisting of members of Buddhist community and young people.
