Dharamshala: As part of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile’s periodic visitation program, parliamentarian Tenzing Jigme, representing North and South America, is scheduled to visit Chicago, Illinois, and Madison, Wisconsin, from 15 to 18 November 2024.

Following extensive deliberations within the Standing Committee and consultations with the administration, the Tibetan parliamentary visitation program for parliamentarians from North & South America, Europe, and Australasia & Asia (excluding India, Nepal, and Bhutan) was initiated in 2023. This program resulted from numerous discussions between the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, and parliamentarians from these regions.
