
Dharamshala: The leadership and staff of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) held a prayer service this afternoon to mourn the demise of Chungdak Koren, a former Tibetan Parliamentarian and Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the CTA at the Office of Tibet, who passed away on 10 September at the age of 74 after a prolonged illness.
During the prayer ceremony, Joint Secretary Guru Nyima from the Kashag (Cabinet) Secretariat shared a brief biography of the late Tibetan parliamentarian, who has played a pivotal role as a liaison when His Holiness the Dalai Lama was awarded Nobel Peace Prize.
