
Vice President of India conferring the National Award for Teachers – 2016 to Debasish Sahu (TGT Maths), CST Dholanji.
Dharamshala: The Department of Education, CTA today congratulated Shri Debasish Sahu (TGT Maths), CST Dholanji on winning the prestigious National Award for Teachers – 2016, on 5 September 2017. The award was conferred on him by the Honorable Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu for his hard work, sincerity and punctuality.
Shri Debasish Sahu had joined Central Tibetan Schools Administration on 4 March, 1993 as Trained Graduate Teacher, Mathematics. He has served in various CTSA schools namely CST Gothangaon, CST Kalimpong and presently in CST Dholanji. He did his initial schooling from CST Chandragiri and completed his matriculation from CST Bylakuppe.
Shri Debasish Sahu has taken charge of various committees of the schools and actively took part in meetings and co-curricular activities. He is also highly regarded in the society not only as a teacher but for his active participation in the social works/activities. “We wish him all the best for his future endeavours,” the Department said, in the congratulatory note.
