Dharamshala: With the safe arrival of 2 girls in Odisha and 4 students at Gaura Mafi, Dehradun, the homecoming of the 93 Vadodara Tibetan students to their respective hometown’s mission is successfully accomplished.
The students amidst the pandemic fear and uncertainty have traveled to the north of India Ladakh, Dehradun, Mainpat, Dharamsala, Odisha, and far east of Arunachal Pradesh and finally, they reached home safely. Their homecoming was of immense joy to their parents who have been more in despair thinking of their child safety during their long and arduous journey. They express their gratitude to CTA for the support and care rendered to their child during the need of the hour.
The last 4 students who reached Gauri Mafi recently was the President and Executive members of the Barado Tibetan Student’s Association. As any good leader, they have shown commendable leadership and perfectly executed their responsibility in arranging all the logistics to ensure that the students boarded safely from Vadodara to their destination.
President Phuntsok Yeshi of Baroda Tibetan Student’s Association Union said, “We would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude towards the Department of Education, CTA for their generous support to all through emotion, guidance and most importantly rendering full fledge financial support to make sure the students reach home safely. The warm care and support have definitely made all the students feel very secure and safe. We all have reached our homes safely without any trouble. I on behalf of all the students would like to say thank you very much for all the love, care, and support”.
