Ladakh: Kyabje Yongzin 7th Ling Rinpoche, Jetsun Tenzin Lungtok Trinley Chophak Palzangpo, visited Ladakh Tibetan Children’s Village School on 23 June 2025 and consecrated newly installed 113 prayer wheels, built in honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday.

Rinpoche then bestowed sacred transmissions and conferred teachings to the students and followers following a ceremonial offering of a mandala. The offering was made by the Tibetan Settlement Officer, Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner, and members of the Local Tibetan Assembly.

It also featured presentations of cultural performances from the Sonamling Cultural Committee and the school’s cultural group.

The event was jointly organised by the Sonamling Tibetan Settlement Office, religious committees of the Leh and Jangthang region, and TCV, Ladakh.
