Shimla: Jonang Kyabje Khen Rinpoche Kunga Choephel of Jonang Takten Phuntsok Choeling Monastery in Shimla today called on Honourable Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur to present donation amount of Rs 1,15,001 as a token of contribution and support to the state government’s ongoing efforts in curbing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kyabje Khen Rinpoche also met with the Dictor General of Police and donated medical essentials including hand sanitizers, mask, surgical gloves and water and food supplies of worth Rs 1.2 lakh.
