DHARAMSHALA: Home Kalon Sonam Topgyal Khorlastang is scheduled to leave for Leh  and Jangthang Nomad Clusters in Ladakh for an official visit from5- 14 August 2017.

As per scheduled program, Kalon will meet Dr Sonam Dawa Lhunpo, Chief Executive Councillor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council and DC, Leh to follow up on the implementation of the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy 2014 and other issues.

Other programs of the visit include an address to the general public of Tibetan Settlement Choglamsar, Leh and Jangthang Tibetan Clusters with inspection to various locations and hear the grievances of the settlers.

Kalon will be accompanied by Mr Chhimey Rigzen, Home Secretary, Department of Home, CTA.

He will return to Dharamsala on 14 August 2017.
