Dharamshala: The Department of Education, CTA Dharamsala is happy to announce the result of English Essay Writing Project 2020 for Class V to VIII held from 12 May to 12 June 2020.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the schools have been closed for several months since March 2020 which has severely disrupted the academic calendar of the schools and children have missed out on valuable learning time. The writing project was aimed to counter the negative impact of the sudden and prolonged school closure due to COVID-19 as well as to give the students a platform to express themselves creatively.
A total of 934 students from the schools under STSS, TCV, THF in India, and SLF Nepal took part in the project. 64 students are awarded the excellence certificate with a cash prize of INR 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only) from each school system. The list is provided below.
Furthermore, a total number of 369 students from the different school systems are given an appreciation certificate for writing 10 or more essays.
