Pokhra: On Saturday, 30 October 2024, the official handing-over ceremony was held at Lodrik Tibetan Settlement between the outgoing Settlement Officer Tashi Dorje and the incoming Settlement Officer Karma Soepa Thrinley. Tashi Tsetan, Settlement Officer of Tashi Palkyil Tibetan Settlement Office, Pokhra, oversaw the handover and takeover of charge as the representative of the Department of Home.

The duo started handing and taking over of charge by inspecting Tashi Gang, Paljorling and Jampaling under the jurisdiction of Lodrik Tibetan Settlement Office and exchanging the documents and office stationaries.

On 2 November, a formal gathering was held at Jampaling Tibetan settlement in the attendance of the Presidents of the Lodrik Welfare Foundation, the Vice President of Local Tibetan Assemblies, the President of the Regional Tibetan Freedom Movement, School Principal, Camp Leaders and representatives from other regional Tibetan civil societies.

Official gatherings were held with the Tibetan residents at Tashi Gang and Paljoring, respectively, and inspection visits were held.
