Karnataka: On special invitation by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vishnukanth S. Chatpalli of Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, Gadag, CRO Jigmey Tsultrim along with two delegates Kunga Dhodon from the Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education and Geshe Dakpa Jinpa Gashar from Gaden Shartse Monastery and the opera troupe from Mundgod Tibetan Settlement attended the International Conference on Swaraj – Native Models of Self-Governance from 1 to 3 March 2023.
Geshe Dakpa Jinpa Gashar spoke on decolonisation and history of Tibetan Buddhism. Kunga Dhodon presented a documentary on the Education model of the Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education and its success story.
