
SHIMLA: Representative Tenzin Norbu from the Chief Representative’s office based in Shimla attended the swearing-in ceremony of Shri Jairam Thakur, the new chief minister, and cabinet ministers of Himachal Pradesh. He was accompanied by Ven Yarphel Sangpo from Dorje Drak monastery, Ven Tenzin Rangdol from Jonang monastery, and Secretary Orgen Choedon from the Chief Representative’s office.
The chief guest at the swearing-in ceremony was governor Acharya Dev Vrat. The special guest at the swearing in ceremony was Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Shri Amit Shah, BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, and a host of leaders from the central government of India including Home minister Rajnath Singh, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Shri J P Nadda, Shri Thawar Chand gehlot, Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Shri mangal Pandey, as well as former HP chief ministers Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal and Shri Shanta Kumar.
Chief Ministers from various Indian states also attended the ceremony including Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Madhya Pradesh, Dr Raman Singh from Chattisgarh, Vasundhara Raje, CM, Rajasthan, Manohar Parikar, CM, Goa, Yogi Adityanath, CM, UP, Trivendra Rawat, CM, Uttrakhand, Raghuwar Das, CM, Jharkhand, Sarvanand Sonowal, CM, Assam, Manohar Lal Khattar, CM, Haryana, Vijay Rupani, CM, Gujrat, Nirmal Singh, Dy. CM, J& K, Susheel Modi, Dy. CM, Bihar, among others.
The actual ceremony began at 11:30 in the morning when the new Chief minister took the oath of office from Governor Achrya Dev Vrat followed by other members of the state cabinet. The new cabinet members are as follows:

2. Kishan Kapoor from Dharamshala Constituency
3. Suresh Bhardwaj from Shimla Constituency
4. Anil Sharma from Mandi Constituency
5. Sarveen Chaudhary from Shahpur Constituency

7. Vipin Singh Parmar from Sullah Constituency
8. Virendra Kanwar from Kutlehar Constituency
9. Bikram Singh from Jaswan Pragpur Constituency
10. Govind Singh Thakur from Manali Constituency
11. Dr. Rajiv Sezal from Kasauli Constituency
