Bylakuppe: Organised by the Education Department, Mrs. Tharlam Dolma former School Principal, member of Education Council and advisor of Education Council led an inspection tour at Tibetan schools in south India.
The tour was supported and facilitated by Directors and Principals of respective schools.
The tour began on 26 March from Sambhota Tibetan School Bylakuppe, STS CVP Bylakuppe on 27 March and from 29 to 30 March at TCV School Bylakuppe.
During her visits, Mrs Tharlam Dolma inspected classrooms, school library, dormitories, Science Laboratory and Computer classrooms. She also assessed the implementation of Basic Education Policy especially on teaching methodology in the classrooms.
As part of the tour, Advisor Dolma met the students and delivered a talk on the essence of moral ethics and education in life.
Further, she emphasised the importance of cultivating good mindset and positive behavior by the teachers in their daily interaction with students. She highlighted importance of a good lesson plans.
The talk was attended by both teaching and non-teaching staff of the schools.
Mrs Dolma continued her school inspection tour to Mundgod on 1 April. She will be visiting and meeting the teachers and students in the three Tibetan schools in Mundgod from 2-5 April.
From 8 to 9 April, she will visit Bylakuppe again and inspect three primary schools and pre-primary schools. She will also visit Hunsur Sambhota days school on 11 April and conclude the tour with a final visit to Kollegal STS Sambhota days school.
