
Mandi: As part of the ongoing public awareness program organised by the Election Commission of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) to promote awareness about the upcoming 2026 Sikyong and 18th Tibetan Parliamentary elections, Additional Election Commissioner Nangsa Choedon and Secretary Lobsang Chodak visited Rewalsar (Tso Pema) and Pandoh Tashiling on 28 and 29 October 2025.
Upon their arrival at Rewalsar (Tso Pema) on 28 October from Dharamshala, they were warmly received by the Mandi Tibetan Settlement Officer, staff and local election commission members. Later in the afternoon, they visited the holy cave and held an interactive session with nuns residing at the holy cave regarding the upcoming Sikyong and Chithue Elections.
On the morning of 29 October, Nangsa Choedon delivered a public talk to the residents of Rewalsar at the Community Hall, followed by a quick Q&A session.
Later in the afternoon, they proceeded to Tashiling Tibetan Settlement Pandoh, where she conducted a public talk to the residents of Pandoh and Mandi, followed by an interactive Q&A session with the public.
In the evening, after successfully completing the awareness program in communities under the jurisdiction of the Mandi Tibetan Settlement Office, Nangsa Choedon departed from Pandoh for the Dobhi Tibetan Settlement to continue her official tour.
