His Holiness to Teach from 22 July

Dharamsala, 16 July: His Holiness the Dalai Lama will begin a ten- day teaching on Ngagrim Chenmo (Tsongkhapa’s Great Exposition of Tantric Stages) from 22 July, 2004.

The ten-day discourse is a continuation of a teaching requested by Taiwan based -Compassion and Bliss Foundation a few years back. However, the Guhyasamaja initiation, which His Holiness was to confer according to the teaching schedule, has been cancelled.

His Holiness will also teach Bodhicaryavatara (Guide to Bodhisattva’s Way of Life) and -Stages of Meditation-middle part (the second of the three parts of Bhavanakrama).

This will be His Holiness’ first public appearance after the cancellation of his Spain visit due to ‘a persistent cough developed on account of an exhausting and hectic schedule’.

All teachings will be afternoon sessions. Registration for foreigners and Tibetans are done at the Security Branch, Mcloed Ganj.
