Tenzingang: This morning, the Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement Office organised a prayer ceremony at the local Nyungne Temple to mourn the death of Tibetan martyr Lobga Rangzen, who self-immolated in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City, USA, on 2 July 2026.

During the ceremony, the Tenzingang Regional Tibetan Youth Congress and the Regional Tibetan Women’s Association offered two hundred butter lamps, including two large butter lamps and served tea and snacks to the community.

In addition, all staff members of the Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement Office made a separate offering of one large hundred-lamp set at Gyuto Tantric College as an expression of their condolences.
