Switzerland: On 28 March 2026, a memorial prayer ceremony was held at Rikon Monastery in Switzerland, organised by the executive members of the Swiss Domey Association in honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s late younger brother, Ngari Rinpoche Tenzin Choegyal.

At the memorial service, Representative Thinlay Chukki, Abbot of Rikon Monastery Tenzin Jangchub, along with several former Tibetan parliamentarians and members of the local community, were in attendance.

Similar prayer services were also held by the Central Tibetan Administration, as well as several Tibetan NGOs and communities, for the late Ngari Rinpoche Tenzin Choegyal, who passed away on 17 February 2026 at the age of 80 in Dharamshala.

Likewise, an official resolution of condolence was also passed during the Eleventh Session of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.
