Miao & Tezu: In continuation of the Election Commission’s awareness initiative concerning the 2025–26 Sikyong and 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile elections, Additional Election Commissioner Tsering Youdon undertook an official tour of Miao Choepheling and Tezu Dhargyeling Tibetan Settlements in Northeast India.

She departed from Dharamsala on 14 October 2025 and reached Miao Choepheling on 15 October 2025. The following day, on 16 October, she convened a public gathering to highlight key election guidelines and procedures, followed by an interactive Q&A session with the residents. Subsequently, she held a meeting with the Regional Election Commission members, providing clarifications on various election-related matters.

In the afternoon, she proceeded to Tezu Dhargyeling Settlement, where she was warmly received by the Settlement Officer at Golden Pagoda. On 17 October, she addressed the public and later continued her outreach by meeting the regional election members to further strengthen the electoral awareness initiative.

She concluded her visit on 18 October, departing from Dibrugarh to Shillong Tibetan Settlement to continue her scheduled programme.
