On 20 September, Geshe Lhakdor addressed the students and staff of Sambhota Tibetan School in Miao, where he delivered a deeply inspiring talk on the four principle commitments of His Holiness the Dalai Lama: Upholding human values, Encouraging inter-religious harmony, Preserving Tibetan culture, and Promoting global peace with environmental responsibility.
Later in the afternoon, he engaged with the local Tibetan community, further elaborating on these commitments and their relevance in today’s world.
Continuing his outreach, Geshe Lhakdor visited the Tezu Tibetan Settlement on 21 September. There, he once again addressed a large gathering comprising students, educators, and members of the public on the same theme.

Although a scheduled talk at Dibrugarh University on 23 September was cancelled due to the untimely demise of renowned Assamese musician Zubeen Garg, Geshe Lhakdor instead visited the Tibetan Market in Dibrugarh. There, he offered an introductory talk on fundamental Buddhist principles, followed by a brief question-and-answer session with attendees.
Geshe Lhakdor concluded his visit later that day and returned to Dharamshala.
