Manali: The 10th Local Tibetan Assembly of the Kullu-Manali Tibetan Settlement was sworn in on 16 September 2024 following the election of 11 new members, including its chair, Tenzin Mipham, and vice-chair, Tenzin Thokmey.

The local Justice Commissioner of the Northern region, Choekyi, administered the oath of the newly elected members.

Concurrently with the swearing-in ceremony, Local Justice Commissioner Choekyi conducted a legal awareness campaign later that day for around 45 Tibetan residents to elucidate the Tibetan Justice Commission’s code of judiciary and its organisation and jurisdiction.
