
Bylakuppe: The fifth leg of the workshop session for newly elected members of the Tibetan Freedom movement in South India was successfully held at the Sakya Conference Hall, Bylakuppe. The event, organised by the Chatrel & Data Unit under the Department of Finance, involved twenty-one males and two females attending the workshop.
Dorjee Rinzin, the Settlement Officer of Lugsung Samdupling, inaugurated the workshop with a keynote address detailing the roles and responsibilities of BRDL members.
Day 1 – Training Sessions: Yangchen Dolkar, Section Head of Chatrel, conducted a session on critical regulations related to CTA revenue generation. Her presentation focused on budgeting proposals and auditing processes vital for effective financial management.
Day 2 – Procedural Guidelines: Pema Dechen, Section Head of the Data Unit, provided in-depth guidance on Greenbook application procedures and introduced relevant guidelines.
This workshop is part of the Department’s ongoing initiative to deliver thorough training to new members across all regional Tibetan Freedom Movement sections. It aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
