
Dharamshala: The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) held a prayer session this afternoon, 5 August 2024, to mourn the passing away of Tenzin Tsultrim, Director of the Tibetan Computer Resource Centre (TCRC) under the Department of Finance.
The prayer service was attended by Justice Commissioner Tenzin Lungtok from Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission; Parliamentarians Ven. Tenpa Yarphel and Phurpa Dorjee Gyaldhong from Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, and CTA civil servants including Secretaries at Sikyong hall in Gangchen Kyishong.
During the prayer ceremony, Cabinet Secretary Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi read a brief biography of the late Tenzin Tsultrim before the gathering.
Brief bio of the deceased:
Obituary: Tenzin Tsultrim was born to Topgyal and Yangchen Dolker in Lhasa, Tibet, on 8th December 1978. On 6 March 2010, he began his probation period as a Section Officer at the Tibetan Computer Resource Centre (TCRC).
On 5 October 2010, he ended his probation period, and later, he was appointed as a permanent staff at the same office as the section officer. From there, he was promoted to Under-Secretary in the same department on 5 February 2018 and then promoted to Deputy Secretary on 18 June 2024. He passed away this morning at Tanta Hospital around 6:40 a.m.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
