Tenzingang: Tibetan Settlement Officer Rapten Tsering attended the grand inaugural ceremony of Thupten Shedrup Gephelling Monastery at Buddha Heritage Park in Yokmuzor, Arunachal Pradesh, on 28 January 2024, upon invitation from the former speaker of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Shri. Tenzing Norbu Thongdok.

As the chief guest, Shri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, graced the auspicious occasion.

Thupten Shedrup Gephelling Monastery was named and blessed by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama.

The Tibetan Settlement Officer of Tenzingang, Rapten Tsering, met Shri Pema Khandu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, at Circuit House Kalaktang later in the evening and briefed him about the current situation of Tenzingang Tibetan settlement and submitted in writing the settlement’s grievances to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, who assured him to extend every possible help.
