Bodhgaya: Residents of the Paonta Cholsum Tibetan Settlement offered long-life prayers to His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Kalachakara teaching ground in Bodhgaya on 1 January 2024, alongside Central Institute of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath and its alumni, residents of the Tibetan settlement at Paonta Sahib, India-based Shalu Monastery, and Lhaden Chotrul Monlam Trust.

The residents of Paonta Sahib Tibetan settlement recited an accumulation of 1,63,59,760 mani and 61,00,700 dolma mantras as part of the long-life prayer ceremony.
