The Mundgod Tibetan Settlement’s project-dealing staff from the Department of Health, Kalsang Choedon, wrapped up a ten-day observation visit from December 5–15. Tsering Dolma, a representative from the Tibet Fund, joined the observation.
The visit was intended as a field monitoring assignment for the forthcoming 4-year Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) programs. The projects include drilling a bore well and building private, and public restrooms and a water pipeline.
The program was funded by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM).
