
Dharamshala: Secretary Palden Dhondup and Additional Secretary Jampa Phuntsok from the Department of Home, CTA, made an assessment visit to certain households in Bylakuppe-based Lugsung Samdupling Tibetan Settlement whose part of the agricultural field comes under the state government’s land acquisition for constructing National Highway 275 on 27 August 2023.
The duo were accompanied by Tibetan Settlement Officers of Lugsam and Dickey Larsoe settlement, along with staff from the Lugsam Settlement Office and representatives of Camp No. 5 and 6.
The group visited 108 households in five Camps whose lands come under the NH-275 project. A sum of 72 Acres and 29.75 Guntha of these households became a subject of the state government’s National Highway project.
At the same time, the team also visited the public auditorium of Camp No. 7 and ORTC. The grievances of the public were also apprehended during the visit.
