Dolanji: The Additional Secretary of the Home Department, Tenzin Norbu visited the landslide-hit areas in Dolanji on 31 July caused by the excessive rain recently.

The Additional Secretary was accompanied by architect Tenzin Wangyal on this visit. The two inspected the areas adversely impacted by the landslides and visited the sites damaged by flooding. They talked with the local Tibetan residents and listened to their grievances which will be reported to the Kasshag once they return from their assessment visit.

After concluding Dolanji visit, the two left for settlements in Kullu Manali which saw the drastic impacts of the heavy rain triggering devastating landslides and flash floods.
