Darjeeling: The Tibetan Settlement Office of Sonada Tashiling observed the handing over ceremony of the office from Acting Tibetan Settlement Officer Tenzin Jorden to the newly appointed Officer Tenzin Weosyal in the presence of witness Tashi Wangdue, Secretary of Sonada Cooperative Farming Society on the 10th of October, 2022.

After taking over the office, TSO Tenzin Weosyal met with local Tibetan people residing within the jurisdiction of the office, offered prayers at the Samdrub Thargeyling Monastery and visited the Sambhota Tibetan Day School, Sonada.

Sonada Tashiling Settlement Officer, Tenzin Weosyal is currently the youngest official to bear the responsibility of a Tibetan Settlement Office (as confirmed by the Public Service Commision, CTA).
