
Dehradun: As Tibetans around the globe marks 2020 as the Gratitude Year to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tibetan Settlement Office, Dehradun in collaboration with Doon Tibetan community initiated a month-long mobile Tibet museum which is successfully completed.
The first leg of the initiative was carried in five Tibetan colonies under the jurisdiction of Tibetan Settlement Office Dehradun and Doegu Yugayling Tibetan Settlement Office, Herbertpur on 2 December 2020. Tibet museum was displayed to Dokham Tibetan Foundation, Rabtenling in the morning and Tsering Dhonden Tibetan Colony, Raipur on the final day.
Mobile Tibet museum displayed the life history of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and his four commitments in three languages; Tibetan, English and Hindi to educate and create awareness to Tibetan communities with support from The Tibet Museum, DIIR, CTA.
The second-leg of Tibet museum will be organised in the following months in Indian school, colleges, Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Academy (ITBP), and Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration.
