Dharamshala: The 9th Annual General Body Meeting of Tibetan Administration Welfare Society (TAWS) was held virtually on 28 October, organised by the Department of Finance, CTA. 

The meeting was led by Finance Kalon and Vice Chairperson of Tibetan Administration Welfare Society, Mr Karma Yeshi and attended by Governning body members and General Body members. 

During the meeting Kalon Karma Yeshi spoke about the significance of the settlement officer’s participation in the implementation of projects in align with the aims and objectives of TAWS. He also appreciated the initiatives led by the Settlement Officer’s in marking CTA’s yearlong gratitude campaign, ‘Year of gratitude for the His Holiness Dalai Lama’.

Finance Secretary Yeshi Wangmo who is also the Member Secretary of TAWS briefed on the two years (2017-18 and 2018-19) annual and financial report and presented the minutes of the 8th Annual General Body meeting.  

In his concluding note, the Vice Chairperson requested all the members to actively participate in implementing the project under TAWS in future and thanked everyone for their participation.
