Kalimpong: The Chairman, Vice Chairman and members of the seventh Kalimpong Local Assembly were sworn in at a brief ceremony held on 3 June.

The ceremony also witnessed the election of 9 members to the local assembly including the Chair Tsering Choekyap and Vice Chair Topgyal.

In accordance with the 69th provision in the Tibetan Charter, the Chief Justice Commissioner of Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission had appointed Mingyur Youdon, Settlement Officer as a temporary local Justice Commissioner to administer the oath.
