The new members of the 9th Local Tibetan Assembly with the Tibetan Local Justice Commissioner for the northern region, Lhadruk.

Puruwala : The Chairman, Vice Chairman and members of the 9th Puruwala Local Tibetan Assembly were sworn in at a brief ceremony held on 22 April 2019.

The Tibetan Local Justice Commissioner for the northern region, Lhadruk administered the oath of newly-elected Chairman Lobsang Tenpa, Vice Chairman Jamphel Dorjee and 9 members of the 9th Puruwala Local Tibetan Assembly.

There are 9 members of Local Tibetan Assembly out of which 7 are men and 2 are women.

On 23 April the hand-over and take-over between the former and new members of Local Tibetan Assembly took place with the settlement officer as the witness.
