
Ranchi: Central University of Jharkhand in coordination with Core Group for Tibetan Cause organized a Seminar titled “India’s Cultural values in Tibet” at Ranchi, Jharkhand on 19 September 2018.
Shri Indresh Kumar, Chief Patron, Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch and Senior National Campaigner, Rashtriya Swyansevak Sangh was invited as a Chief Guest to address the gathering.
In his speech he stated that “For centuries India and Tibet co-exist on principle of moral values such as truth, non-violence, compassion and friendship, therefore the two countries had a strong bond in their faith and belief”. He further said that China is on the edge to annihilate the Tibetan identity and race. People Republic of China in the name of development in Tibet has deployed Lakhs of armed forces in Tibet by exercising the whole of region as a Military base camp.
In order to extinct the Tibetan race, Peoples Republic of China is planning to adopt a policy where Tibetans women were forced to marry Chinese men. But India will not let Chinese to wipe out Tibetan identity and its race.
The other guest speakers include Smt. Dolma Gyari, Former Kalon of Central Tibetan Administration; Dr. Prof. Nandkumar Yadav, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jharkhand; Roma Yadav and others.
Smt. Dolma Gyari spoke on Cultural ties of India & Tibet which dates back since the ancient times. For Tibetans, India is a noble land where Lord Buddha received his enlightenment and a part of ancient Indian wisdom and thoughts.
The event was attended by more than 500 participants which include professors, faculty members and students of Central University.
Finally the program concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Hari Kumar, Registrar of Central University.
