Rasuwa: The newly elected members of the 9th Local Tibetan Assembly of Rasuwa Gegayling settlement were sworn in on 24 September 2025. The oath was administered by Chokey, the Local Justice Commissioner of the Northern Region.

The programme began with a gathering that included Gyalsa-Phakshing Settlement Officer cum Local Election Commissioner Tashi Dorjee and 5 out of the 7 newly elected members. Among them, Jangchup and Tenzin Norbu were elected as President and Vice President of the new Assembly, respectively.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Local Justice Commissioner conducted a legal awareness campaign.
