Dharamshala: 11 elected members of 11th Local Tibetan Assembly of Choephelling Tibetan Settlement took was sworn in on 31 August as per the request of Tibetan Election Commission. Chief Justice Commissioner Sonam Norbu Dagpo has appointed Mr. Karma Tsetan, Officiating Headmaster of Sambhota Tibetan School, Miao as the temporal Local Justice Commissioner to administer the oath as per the Tibetan Charter in Exile’s Article 69.

Mr. Rigzin Dorjee has been elected as the Chairman and Mr. Kunga Tsering as Vice-chairman.

The elected members were congratulated by  Mr. Karma Tseten, Local Justice Commissioner and Mr. Tenzin Chokden, Local Tibetan Election Commissioner/Settlement Officer.
