Kollegal: The Chairman and Vice Chairman of the 10th Kollegal Local Assembly were sworn in at a brief ceremony held at Kollegal Dhondeling Tibetan Settlement on 24 May.

The ceremony also witnessed the election of 19 members to the local assembly including the Chair and Vice-Chair.

Phuntsok Dolma, local Justice Commissioner (temporary) administered the oath to the newly elected Chairman Tsewang Sonam and Vice Chair Palden.

In accordance with the 69th provision in the Tibetan Charter, the Chief Justice Commissioner of Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission had appointed Phuntsok Dolma, Secretary of the local Justice Commission as a temporary local Justice Commissioner.
