9th Nov. 2020, Delhi: The year 2020 has been tough for all till now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The global pandemic which has left the entire world rattled had originated from the Chinese city of Wuhan. The suppression and misinformation regarding the disease have led to the death of hundreds of thousands lives around the world and crippling the global economy. It has all shown the Chinese model of deceit and oppression. Also, the Communist China repeated act of aggressions which resulted in the face off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley of Ladakh killing our 20 brave jawans namely Commanding Officer Col B Santosh Babu (Hyderabad), Nb Sub Nuduram Soren (Mayurbhanj), Nb Sub Mandip Singh (Patiala), Nb Sub Satnam Singh (Gurdaspur), Hav K Palani (Madurai), Hav Sunil Kumar (Patna), Hav Bipul Roy (Meerut), Nk Deepak Kumar (Rewa), Sep Rajesh Orang (Birbhum), Sep Kundan Kumar Ojha (Sahibganj), Sep Ganesh Ram (Kanker), Sep Chandrakanta Pradhan (Kandhamal), Sep Ankush (Hamirpur), Sep Gurbinder (Sangrur), Sep Gurtej Singh (Mansa), Sep Chandan Kumar (Bhojpur), Sep Kundan Kumar (Saharsa), Sep Aman Kumar (Samastipur), Sep Jai Kishore Singh (Vaishali) and Sep Ganesh Hansda (East Singhbhum) on the midnight of 15th June 2020 and the skirmish between Indian and Chinese soldiers at the southern bank of Pangong Lake on the night of 29th – 30th August 2020 which resulted in the death of SFF Coy Leader Nyima Tenzin are highly condemnable.
All these evil and inhuman acts of Communist China angered the people of India and they stood in solidarity with the brave jawans of the country and called for the boycott of Chinese products as it indirectly helps the Chinese soldiers against our own soldiers at the border. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic in tune with the countrymen, the Tibet Support Groups in India also carried out campaigns against Communist China and called for the complete boycott of buying and using Chinese products. In June 2020, Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch (BTSM) in Delhi organized Boycott Chinese Products cum Mass Public Awareness Campaign to ban Chinese products and burned Chinese President Xi Jinping’s effigy in protest against the killing of brave Indian soldiers by the Chinese soldiers. In July 2020, all India Tibet Support Groups convened a virtual conference to future strategises the deepening relation between India & Tibet and protest against Chinese Communist regime. India Tibet Friendship Society (ITFS) from time to time held webinars in protesting and condemning the evil acts of Communist China. In September 2020, ITFS Doon (Autonomous) with Tibetan Community in Dehradun staged protest against China and called for a complete boycott of Chinese products. In October 2020, Bharat Tibbat Samvad Manch – Uttar Pradesh carried out protest on the occasion of anti-Chinese imperialism day and submitted Memorandum to the Prime Minister and President of India through the Governor. Likewise, Tibet Support Groups around the country carried out campaigns against Communist China and shouted for the boycott of Chinese products.
As the festival of lights “Deepawali” is around the corner and people must be busy gearing up to celebrate the festival with family and friends, the Core Group for Tibetan Cause – India had issued an appeal letter to all the members of Tibet Support Groups that this Deepawali to complete boycott buying and using of Chinese products and celebrate Chinese-product free Deepawali. At the same time, it also appealed them to tell their family and friends to do the same and pay homage to the brave Indian jawans who laid their lives for the motherland. It reads that there will be thousands of products line up in the markets to attract customers but one must remember not to buy made in China products. Our jawans are being killed at the border by the Chinese soldiers so we must stand in solidarity with the jawans by boycotting the made in China products and say NO TO CHINESE PRODUCTS.
